MOSCOW, Mar 4 (PRIME) -- The number of Russian millionaires with a wealth of over U.S. $30 million will grow by 23% to slightly over 11,000 people over the next five years, consulting company Knight Frank said in a report on Wednesday.
In 2019, the number of ultra high-net-worth individuals in Russia rose 4% to 8,924 people, putting the country to the ninth place, and fell 15% over the past five years.
Knight Frank projects that the number of such people in the U.S. will increase by 22% to over 293,000 over the next five years and will jump 73% in India, 66% in Egypt, and 64% in Vietnam.
The number of ultra high-net-worth people in the world is expected to increase 27% to almost 650,000 by 2024.
